Laurie Turner is a third-year doctoral student with the Department of Education: Educational Administration and Research at Texas A & M-Corpus Christi, emphasis in Education Policy. Mrs. Turner holds a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Portland University and a MPA in Public Policy from Washington State University. She is currently running for State Board of Education-District II. Mrs. Turner’ enjoys speaking out, advocating for students, teachers, and local schools. Her current research is focused on political participation and policy development concerning educational issues. |
